Chocolate

The Master Class is taught by Elena Morozova, Leading Nail Art Instructor at the CNI Training Centre, repeated winner of Russian Championships, member of the Russian nail art team, CNI-NSP brand promotion specialist, and international judge.

Chocolate is a very tasty ‘medicine’ for depression and an indispensable remedy for fatigue.  Scientists have discovered that just breathing in the aroma of chocolate makes us feel good.  English perfumiers even make eau de toilette containing the aroma of this heavenly delicacy.

  • Step 1

We carry out the preliminary stage of preparing the natural nail plate.  We treat the hands of the technician and the client with Professional Antiseptic Skin Lotion.  We push back the cuticle with an orange stick.  We condition the natural nail plate with a 240 White Granite nail file.  We treat the nail plate twice with Nail Surface Cleanser.  Placing a Universal disposable form under the free edge of the nail.

  • Step 2

Using a No Fairy Point brush we apply Ultra Bondex over the entire surface of the nail plate.  With a 421 Magical Square brush we apply a layer of Matrix base gel.  We cure the gel in the UV lamp for one minute.

  • Step 3

In accordance with the desired length and shape we use a Perfect Petal brush to form the free edge of the nail with Crystal gel.  Cure in the UV Lamp for one and a half to two minutes.

  • Step 4

We remove the CNI disposable form.  Using a brushstroke technique we use a No6 Perfect Petal brush to apply Magical Citrine (from the Magic of Stones collection of coloured gels), masking the colour of the natural nail.  We cure the gel in the UV lamp for one and a half minutes.  We apply a thin layer of Strong sculpting gel.  We cure the gel in the UV lamp for one and a half minutes.

  • Step 5

Using a brushstroke technique we apply Enigmatic Garnet (from the Magic of Stones collection of coloured gels).  We cure the gel in the UV lamp for one and a half minutes.

  • Step 6

We use a tool to apply an abstract shape of Bronze sheet foil onto the dispersion layer of the coloured gel.  We then apply a criss cross design in Flash gel with a No Perfect Petal brush.  We cure the gel in the UV lamp for one and a half minutes.

  • Step 7

We apply an abstract design using Illusory Obsidian (from the Magic of Stones collection of coloured gels).  We cure the gel in the UV lamp for one and a half minutes.

  • Step 8

We apply a thin layer of Strong sculpting gel over the entire surface of the nail.  Without curing the previous layer and we brushstroke a pastel tone made earlier on the palette by mixing White Smile (from the French collection of coloured gels) and Pink Panther (from the Neon collection of coloured gels).  We cure the gel in the UV lamp for one and a half minutes.  On the palette we mix Crystal modelling gel with Light Gold coloured glitter (AKGG022) and Terracotta fine glitter (AKGG052) and apply this to the nail plate.  We cure the gel in the UV lamp for one and a half minutes.

  • Step 9

With a Magical Square brush we apply Strong gel.  We cure the gel in the UV lamp for one and a half minutes.

  • Step 10

We remove the dispersion layer with Nail Surface Cleanser.  We form a perfect shape with a 100/180 Quartz nail file. We apply Enigmatic Garnet (from the Magic of Stones collection) gel to the filed surface in the upper left side of zone 2.  Using an Ideal Line brush from Design Brush Collection No3  we draw a pattern of abstract lines with Coal gel (Classic collection of coloured gels).  We cure the gel in the UV lamp for one and a half minutes.

  • Step 11

We apply Gold rolled foil onto the dispersion layer of the Coal gel (Classic collection of coloured gels).

  • Step 12

Using a Magical Square brush we apply Flash protective gel.  We cure the gel in the UV lamp for two  to three minutes.  We remove the dispersion layer with Nail Surface Cleanser.  We treat the cuticle with oil.

    The finished result.
