Melody for the Flute

  • Step 1

    Prepare the nail with a 180/240 grit White Granite nail file and two applications of oil remover. Apply Ultra Bondex over the entire surface of the nail with a Fairy Point №1 brush.
  • Step 2

    Apply a layer of Matrix base gel with a Magical Square №4 brush and cure in the UV lamp for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  • Step 3

    Fit the mould. With a Perfect Petal №6 brush apply Crystal gel to the free edge. Cure in the UV lamp for 1.5 to 2 minutes. Remove the mould.
  • Step 4

    Apply a layer of Strong sculpture gel with a Charming Oval №4 brush. Using a dabbing technique apply a layer of mixed colours (Blackberry + White Smile) to the uncured gel. Cure in the UV lamp for 1.5 minutes.
  • Step 5

    Using a dabbing technique and a Charming Oval №4 brush apply Chinese Peony UV enamel and cure in the UV lamp for 1.5 minutes.
  • Step 6

    Using the same brush apply Juicy Lime gel and cure in the UV lamp for 1.5 minutes.
  • Step 7

    Shape the design with a Perfect Petal №6 brush and Strong gel. Cure in the UV lamp for 1.5 minutes.
  • Step 8

    Follow with two applications of oil remover. Shape the nail with a 100/180 grit Agate nail file. Finish the nail with a 100/180 grit Smooth Quartz nail file. Follow with two applications of oil remover.
  • Step 9

    Continue the design with White Smile gel and a trimmed Fairy Point №1. With the same brush add design elements in black design paint.
  • Step 10

    Add the final details with Chinese Peony UV enamel and a Rigger brush. Cure in the UV lamp for 1.5 minutes.
  • Step 11

    Apply a layer of Gloss protective gel with a Charming Oval №6 brush. Cure in the UV lamp for 2 minutes. Remove the dispersion layer with Nail Surface Cleanser.
  • Step 12

    The finished result.
